March Seminar - Substantive law seminar on the topic of Aboriginal law
Please join VALL for our March seminar where guest speakers Tina Dion & Rosalind Campbell will be doing a substantive law seminar on the topic of Aboriginal law. This seminar will cover recent changes in aboriginal law with a focus on resources development, treaties, consultation, and accommodation.
Tina Dion is a sole practitioner in the areas of Aboriginal, environmental and administrative law, and civil litigation. In addition to assisting the Tsawwassen Government with merging into the Provincial Court system and establishing its Judicial Council, she has taught the First Nations Self-Government course as an adjunct professor at the UBC Faculty of Law since 2002.
Rosalind Campbell joined McDonald & Duncan in 2011. Her experience prior to law practice includes many years as a legal assistant and administering the Property Taxation Department for the Musqueam First Nation. Her experience with First Nations includes governance, economic development and property taxation. She is Coast Salish and an active member of the Musqueam First Nation.
