Job Posting Policy

Any VALL member is welcome to post a job on the VALL website.

To post a job, you need to be logged in to the website. Once logged in, click on the link in the left hand menu that says "Create content" and then choose "Blog entry". Make sure that you have selected "Job Postings" as the category. Once done, click on "Submit" to publish the job posting.

If you run into any issues posting a job, please contact the webmaster.

Job postings will be removed 30 days after the deadline for applications. If there is no deadline in the job posting, the job posting will be removed 60 days after its initial publication date.

About Courthouse Libraries BC (CLBC)

CLBC is currently searching for a Library Technician. 

The Library Technician oversees all print acquisitions for CLBC’s 29 branch libraries. Comfortable with technology, the Library Technician also provides support for various software applications including the ILS, subscription databases and the CLBC website. This role will provide assistance and information to our library clients at the information desk, as required.

We offer a dynamic and supportive workplace, where we value diversity and work-life balance. This position is a five-day per week position (35 hours per week).

Job posting: Client Services Librarian, Courthouse Libraries BC

Location:  Vancouver and New West

Full-time, 5 days per week (hours will be split between both locations @ 75%/25%)

About Courthouse Libraries BC (CLBC)

CLBC is currently searching for a Client Services Librarian

We are looking for a team member with a customer service focus to provide information services for clients of the library. The Client Services Librarian works out of our Vancouver and New Westminster locations and supports staff and clients across the province via phone and email.

We offer a dynamic and supportive workplace, where we value diversity and work-life balance. This position is a five-day per week position (35 hours per week).

CLBC connects the legal community and the public in British Columbia with legal information and strives to equip our clients with the skills needed to use this information.
