VALL Announcement: Peter Bark Bursary Applications 2025
Applications for the Peter Bark Professional Development Bursary are now being accepted. The deadline for applications is March 28, 2025. Please note that we will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
The aim of the Bursary is to support the professional development of VALL members. Please consider applying for the Peter Bark Bursary if you are interested in attending a professional development conference, a continuing education program, or other related course, whether the event is in person or online, and if you need financial assistance. Bursary recipient(s) will receive up to $500 towards a professional development program.

Eligibility
VALL members of at least one (1) year’s standing, including those who have previously received the bursary, are eligible to apply.
Student members are not eligible to apply.
Applications
Applications must include the following information:
- Name of Conference/Program/Course
- Include a summary OR a link to the online summary
- Associated costs (e.g. registration, hotel, and ticket price)
- Why you would like to attend the professional development program
