Hello VALL members,

We are looking for potential speakers for our upcoming AI panel taking place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 12-1 PM via Zoom. This panel will discuss AI adoption/non-adoption at your workplace, including topics such as:

• The use/non-use of AI research tools
• The development of AI guidelines and/or policies
• The development of AI training programs and/or current awareness for lawyers and students
• The ways in which AI affects your day-to-day work and/or insight into how AI is affecting the legal field

The session will begin with speakers briefly sharing their experiences and then will turn into a Q&A.

If you are interested in speaking, please contact the vallexec@gmail.com by Friday, November 7, 2025 for consideration, with a few sentences on your experiences and why you would like to present. Feel free to share this opportunity with others who may be interested, such as colleagues outside of Vancouver.

Up to four speakers will be accepted for this session. Invited speakers will be notified by email from the VALL Executive Committee by Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
