Please join VALL for our June Lunchtime Session, “Metro Vancouver Bylaw Research” with guest speaker Suzanne McBeath. This presentation will explain the process by which bylaws are created for each of Metro Vancouver’s three legal entities: Metro Vancouver Regional District, Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District and Greater Vancouver Water District. There will be a discussion of bylaw structure including how to identify the base bylaw, as well as consolidations and amendments. Searching tips will be provided as well as information on locating historical bylaws.
