Bring Your Own Book (BYOB), Best in Basics Edition. Members are encouraged, but not required, to bring a book from their collection that best fits the BYOB theme!

This interactive Brown Bag session will be a first for VALL as we move to incorporate more member focused events.

The theme for this BYOB session is Best in Basics; bring a book from your collection that best conveys the basics of a specific practice area or focus of law. Come prepared with some information to share with attending members, the minimum information is as follows:

• Title
• Publisher
• Relative cost
• Physical copy commitment (filing and updates)
• Why you think the title best fits the BYOB theme

As the information shared during this session is completely voluntary, please feel free to expand on the above list. Don’t feel comfortable with sharing? Not a problem, curious members looking to broaden their collections are welcome!

When: Friday, October 19th, 2018
Time: Registration at 11:45am, Session to conclude by 1:30pm
Cost: No cost, please remember to bring a lunch
Where: Farris LLP, 25^th Floor 700 West Georgia, Vancouver
