• VALL February Brown Bag with Sarah Sutherland

    Please join VALL for our February Brown Bag Lunch, “What’s happening?: Situational analysis for legal information professionals” with guest speaker Sarah Sutherland on Tuesday, February 20th, 2018.

    Opportunities and risks are everywhere, and analyzing them can help you know how to identify them and respond. In this interactive session Sarah Sutherland will discuss a framework to help organize your thoughts and prioritize issues and action. Sarah will draw on business strategies and her knowledge of the legal information environment to lead this conversation and help you learn new ways to approach your work strategically.

    Sarah Sutherland is the manager of content and partnerships at CanLII and a student in the part time MBA program at the University of British Columbia. She has worked in a variety of libraries, including those in a national law firm, the Province of Saskatchewan, the National Research Council, and the Law Society of Saskatchewan. She writes regularly on topics relating to libraries, technology, and legal information.
