• Amici Curiae Friendship Society – Volunteer opportunity for Law Librarian

When: October 17 from 530 to 730 PM

    Location: Zoom

The Amici Curiae Friendship Society’s School for Family Litigants is conducting their Legal Research Module on October 17, 2023 and is looking for a librarian to volunteer their time to show and teach the self-litigants how to use CanLll, to identify cases and arguments supportive of their family matter and relevant to their position as a self-litigant, and to identify appropriate and relevant legal outcomes.

The goal of the virtual School for Family Litigants (Supreme Court of BC) is to help attendees recognize the most important family law issues. This will be an eleven week program that will take place over Zoom.

As a charity, Amici Curiae Friendship Society (“ACFS” or “AC”) helps British Columbians understand legal procedures and complete paperwork, regardless of their means. For free.
